ARC August // Kick-Off!

It’s August 1st! That means ARC August has started and it’s time to get reading. Thanks again to Read.Sleep.Repeat for hosting such a fun reading challenge and good luck to everyone else participating!

There’s a lot going on this month so to see what’s going on with this challenge all at once, you can check out the page here or click the link in the menu at the top of the page.

Weekly Updates

Each Saturday I’ll be posting the ARCs I read and reviewed. If a review won’t appear until after August, I’ll add a very brief review and when you can see the review, plus update the total ARCs for the month. I’m someone who likes to cross items off a list, so hopefully I can check off a lot of the books this month!

The TBR Stack

I have a TON of ARCs to catch up on, either from giveaways in the past or places like NetGalley. While I try to keep up with them, there always seems to be something new to read. So for this month, I don’t have a specific goal of how many ARCs I want to read, but there are several titles you can expect to see reviews for throughout the month.

Books that will appear after August will receive a short (couple sentences to a paragraph) review as proof that I read them.

ARC Reviews To Look Out For:

Good luck to everyone participating and check back each week for updates!

Well hello there! I see you’ve reached the end of the post. Bummer. But perhaps I may interest you in a comment? And in case you were wondering, I’m a 20-something college grad with a piece of paper that says I know about wildlife. Reviewer of books since 2011, amateur photographer by day, and aspiring author by night. I believe animals (and books) are better than people.

  1. Good luck! I debated joining ARC August as well, but I’m already doing the Pokémon Go Readathon and have a blogging event of my own coming up, so it would have been a tad too much. But I’m doing my best to work on my NetGalley list! Seems like it keeps growing though. I review a book and magically three more appear on the shelf 😀

    • I understand that all too well. It’s like publishers do all their approvals at once. Just when I start to catch up, a bunch more magically appear. At least we can never complain about not having anything to read 🙂
