Happy #StackSaturday! A few days ago I aske Happy #StackSaturday!

A few days ago I asked what color book spines stood out to you most so I thought I'd share some of the books that caught my eye based on their spines!

Whether it was the color, the title, or the design, these books made me pick them up off the shelf, either in the store or on my personal shelves at home!

Which books caught your eye recently? See any of them here?

Do you re-read books, or plan to re-read in the fu Do you re-read books, or plan to re-read in the future? Which books are on your to-be-re-read list?

I used to be a big re-reader. Every time a new book released in a series, I'd re-read all the previous books again before diving in. When the Harry Potter books and movies were releasing, I'd re-read all the previous books before every release (both book AND movie so sometimes twice a year). And then there were series where I'd just re-read because I wanted to return to that world.

Since I started book blogging, and mostly in the last 4-5 years, I haven't had the time to get back to that. I'm constantly reading new/unreleased titles for review because I just can't keep up and while I love it... I miss re-reading.

BUT I'm starting to get in a better place TBR-wise that I think I can start re-reading here and there again, just to start. And I'm considering re-reading more via audiobook because I can do other things in the meantime which is always helpful.

How about you? Are you a re-reader?

Featured are just some of my favorite books, for one reason or another, from the last few years. Spot any of your favorites here?

Do you generally accept book recommendations from Do you generally accept book recommendations from strangers?

I was thinking about this, about how so many of us share book recommendations in the community. But personally, I rarely trust recommendations from more than a handful of sources because I have limited time and I know my reading tastes and that they align really well with those individuals.

Of course, there's community hype and the like which definitely gets my attention, and I'll read books I see shouted about over and over again, but those aren't recommendations in my mind. It's a weird distinction I make 😅

So I guess I would say, generally, no, I don't take recs from strangers. I'll check the book out and may add it to my Goodreads lists to come back to, but that's often as far as it goes. Just not enough time to try everything out!

If you're someone who does accept book recs from strangers, or you consider my page to align with your reading tastes, I have a few novellas from @tordotcompub that are fabulous here for you! All have released so you don't have to wait and all push the boundary of fantasy in the best of ways.
➤ The Border Keeper by Kerstin Hall
➤ Prosper's Demon by K.J. Parker
➤ Desdemona and the Deep by C.S.E. Cooney
➤ Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh

I don't think I've read a book from @tordotcompub that I haven't enjoyed. For reviews of the titles I've covered so far, click the link in my bio!

Friday is here! What are you reading this weekend? Friday is here! What are you reading this weekend?

I have been told that I definitely need to start THE INVISIBLE LIFE OF ADDIE LARUE which I've been holding off on until I'm in a better reading mood. It's always the worst reading a book you're excited for when you're just not in the mood to read anything. BUT if I can get all my stuff down for work today (and tomorrow, if I need to put in some hours), I will likely be diving right in.

And I may fly through a romance or two. The predictability of the genre has been a blessing lately when I just need something fluffy.

How about you?
