Giveaway Policy
This policy applies to all giveaways hosted by NovelKnight Book Reviews regardless of platform.
Eligibility
All entrants must be at least 13 years of age or older, with parental/guardian permission if under the age of 18. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
Giveaway and book trading accounts are automatically disqualified.
Entries
In accordance with FTC guidelines, any entry options listed as mandatory are “free” entries and at most will ask for an email to contact if the entrant is selected as the winner. Entries will be determined by the host and are all optional. Entrants must enter the giveaway in the designated method. The number of eligible entries determines each entrant’s odds of winning. NovelKnight reserves the right to disqualify any entry. Cheating is strictly prohibited and includes using multiple emails to enter, etc. No giveaway accounts allowed.
Winners
Winners are chosen randomly and will have 72 hours (blog and twitter giveaways) or 24 hours (instagram giveaways) upon contact to reply with any needed information pertaining to the prize(s). If the selected winner does not respond within the given hour limit, another winner will be selected. Winners must be willing to provide their email and/or mailing address information in order to receive their prize(s). No personal information is kept past the duration of the giveaway, and will only be used to contact the winner before permanent deletion. Your personal information will remain confidential and will never be shared or sold.
Provision of Prize(s)
All prizes will be explicitly listed and may come from either an outside vendor or the NovelKnight owner personally. Any prize not from an outside vendor will be pictured to confirm the item(s) authenticity.
NovelKnight Book Reviews is not responsible for damaged or lost items due to shipping, nor the provision of prizes from a third-party sponsor.
Third-Party Sponsored Giveaways*
Giveaways hosted by a third-party sponsor may require the provision of personal information to the sponsor in order for prizes to be sent. By entering these giveaways, as denoted on the original post, you agree to provide this information to the third-party sponsor. Your information will not be shared or saved beyond provision of the prize(s). Winner selection is the responsibility of the hosting party.
NovelKnight is not responsible for the shipping or damage/loss of items in the mail from a third-party sponsor. These include any giveaways that are a part of a blog tour or book blitz that are not hosted by NovelKnight.
All forms of entry for third-party sponsored giveaways are selected by the sponsor.
