Walk us through a day in the life of Hannah Capin.
I’m not a very scheduled person, so every day is different. Today I caught the train up to DC to submit visa paperwork at the Russian Embassy, grabbed lunch with a friend at Point-Chaud, and window-shopped in Georgetown. I’ve spent most of the train ride writing, and if there aren’t any delays I’ll get back in time for a rehearsal with the Virginia Symphony Chorus. After that, I might go out for drinks with some other singers, or I might head home and get a quick workout on the rowing machine.
This morning you woke up with the ability to time travel to only one time period. Where (or more accurately when) would you go?

I know asking someone’s all-time favorite book is a loaded question so what is your current favorite read(s)?
I’m not afraid to be bold! My all-time and current favorites are the same, and it’s a two-way tie between LOLITA and THE VIRGIN SUICIDES.
